Granular Urea
Granular Urea Fertilizer is physically harder and more durable than prilled urea. Its granules typically range from 2 to 4 mm in size, whereas prilled urea particles are smaller, usually between 1 to 2.4 mm. This difference in structure directly affects mechanical properties such as flowability, resistance to caking, and handling strength.
Despite having similar chemical composition and thermal behavior (e.g., melting point), the internal structure of granular urea provides superior strength and stability, making it ideal for bulk blending and long-distance transport.
Prilled Urea
Prilled urea (treated urea) is used for Agriculture” grade urea market intended for fertilizer applications.
